Advancing the future of technology with safe and sustainable learning environments
It's time to seriously reconsider the use of wireless technology in our schools.
Today's school classrooms are filled with a multitude of wireless devices, all emitting a constant stream of radiofrequency (RF) radiation.
Manufacturers claim their devices meet FCC safety guidelines, but the FCC has recently been ordered by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia to re-evaluate those 25 year old exposure safety guidelines in light of new studies showing RF radiation can be harmful, especially for children.
Many children are suffering with symptoms related to RF radiation exposure, but neither parents or administrations are making the connection.
“Current FCC standards do not account for the unique vulnerability and use patterns specific to pregnant women and children.”

“We wired all our classrooms with Ethernet, and were able to reduce the power output of our few wireless access points to 25% without any noticeable impact on performance. From our perspective, even though we don't have all the answers, it's much better to take precautionary measures than to take the risk, especially when it comes to our students."
